Skriva collects no data. Everything happens on your own Mac. Here is exactly what that means.
We collect nothing
Skriva collects no data. No account, no sign-in, no analytics and no telemetry. In the App Store this maps to the “Data Not Collected” label.
Fully on-device
The app never connects to the internet. Nothing leaves your Mac — there is no server for anything to be sent to.
The optional AI connection
Under Settings › AI you can let an AI app on your own Mac (such as Claude Code) work with the files in your workspace folder. The connection is off by default, accepts requests only from your own computer (127.0.0.1) and requires a token that exists only in the app. What the AI app does with the text is governed by that app’s own terms.
Your files stay with you
Skriva only reads and writes the documents you open or save, and the notes folder you choose. We never see them.
